It is my joy and passion to help my clients achieve their mental health goals.
I practice psychiatry from a patient-centered perspective that addresses your unique life circumstances to help guide you in attaining better psychological health on your terms. My primary objective is to provide you with as much information and insight as possible, so that you feel empowered and capable of working with me as we determine the best treatment plan for you.
While my principal role is to manage psychiatric medications, I believe in providing a holistic care that addresses all aspects of my clients’ health. I work fervently to provide my clients with high quality care, which involves not only staying up to date on new research and treatments, but also providing an environment where my clients feel comfortable, respected, and accepted.
I enjoy caring for children (ages 6 and up), and adults who have a variety of diagnoses including, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and PTSD.
I am particularly passionate about working with women through various stages of their life. I am an active member of Postpartum Support International and have focused much of my additional learning on issues that are specific to women’s mental health, including special training on perinatal mental health. I also enjoy providing care for women who are experiencing perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including perinatal and postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and psychosis.
