I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master’s in Social Work. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. My professional counseling experience includes working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and loss, addictive behaviors and substance abuse.
I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and adolescence who experience difficulties with communication problems, processing grief, coping with major life events, parenting, and managing anger.
We all need a safe environment and someone to talk to who will listen, pay attention, and help discover solutions that work best for you. My goal is to provide that for you. I approach therapy from a nonjudgmental and person-centered perspective.
My desire is to guide and support you in identifying what needs to change, discovering your potential to change, and assist you in developing healthy coping skills. The therapies I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Strengths Based, and Trauma Informed therapies.
I look forward to beginning this therapeutic journey with you.
