Sara Babb is a Master of Social Work and Supervisee in Social Work. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
Sara has a variety of professional counseling experience working with clients of all ages in outpatient, community based, and residential settings.
Sara utilizes her Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing training, art interventions, sand tray play, and mindfulness to help her clients overcome obstacles.
Sara’s area of clinical interests include working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence, helping individuals who are struggling with maternal mental health issues, and those who struggle with depression and anxiety. Sara enjoys working with adolescents, teens, and young adults.
In addition to providing services at Old Towne Counseling Services, Sara Babb is the executive director of emPOWER Equine Assisted Services, a non-profit organization that helps people meet their therapy goals and heal from trauma with the help of horses.
In her spare time, Sara loves to spend time with her horses, cat, dog, husband, young daughter. She also enjoys reading, crocheting, and camping.
